The RJRGLEANER Communications Group continues to support the Community Outreach programmes, Cluster C at the National Golden Age Home Complex and the Citizens Advice Bureau (C.A.B) Basic School.
The Cluster C at the National Golden Age Home Complex, now houses a total of 70 male and female residents. They continue to benefit from the Community Outreach Programmes and projects sponsored by the Group. During the period under review, the Group upgraded their linen, towels and other items. Additionally, the Group provided Easter and Christmas treats. As is customary, The National Golden Age Home Cluster C Easter Treat on March 28, 2024, was welcomed. Only a brief interaction with the Supervisor of the Cluster and a few members of staff were permitted due to the COVID-19 restrictions still in place. The Group’s representatives were able to hand over gift packages to the residents which were well received.
A delightful aspect of the Group’s Community Outreach programme was the strong support given by children of the Group’s staff who utilised this platform to enhance their school’s community service mandate. The Group extends its profound thanks to these young individuals and looks forward to their continued support in the Group’s mission.
Since the start of 2024, the Group has offered support in community outreach through having representatives attend the Annual General Meeting of the Golden Age Home held on February 20, 2024. Further, the Group donated and handed out medals to the lucky winners at the C.A.B. Basic School Sports Day.
